Trunk Club Review #4

Monday, March 26, 2018

This Trunk Club was full of awesome surprises. This was the first trunk I've kept more than 1 item from, and I think that's a compliment to my stylist! She's getting better.

I'm thrilled with this faux suede jacket. It's INCREDIBLY soft, and it's thin so it's perfect for spring. It also has a stretch to it, which is great because it's really comfortable and not constricting.

I also am head over heels for these leopard flats. They fit like a glove and are so fun. Loafers are really big this year and I can see why! They're great for dressing things up or being casual. These were a little bit of a splurge but they're a solid investment because they're so versatile.

I did like the 2 pairs of blue jeans, but am kind of picky with my jean selection. I invest in expensive denim because I wear is almost every day, and nice jeans feel like butter when you put them on. I am looking for distressed white denim, but the blown out knees were not flattering.

The belt is great, but it's a waist belt and I'd rather it be for pants than an accent piece. I exchanged it for the leopard print version in a size small (they sent an XS) to wear with jeans. I had a lot of hope for the ruffle sleeve tee but it was not flattering. And the wrap tee was very thin and too short (and a bit revealing without something under it!). I chose not to keep the sandals because I like shoes I can wear to work or on the weekend, and they're a little too casual for my job.

The scalloped dress is beautiful, but I'm not a fan of shift dresses as they don't flatter my shape. It was very straight. Taylor sent me this for a bridal shower option, which I appreciate but it didn't work out as hoped. It's also a bit more than I want to spend.

What piece is your favorite??

Happy Monday!
